Quartet-in-Residence
Cellist with The Veronika String Quartet
The Veronika String Quartet, in residence at The Ascension Episcopal Church of Pueblo, CO, is seeking an experienced concert cellist.
Desired start date is January 1, 2012 or availability of the winning candidate.
Responsibilities include:
Rehearsals, concerts, recordings for CD’s, radio and television, national and possible international touring, teaching master classes in cello and chamber music, coaching student chamber music ensembles, participation in Quartet business.
Part-time, probationary non- teaching position includes:
8 seasonal concerts, 4 outreach concerts, various services at The Ascension Episcopal Church , festivals and residency at different Universities.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in music or related field or equivalent degree.
Additional preferred qualifications:
Chamber music performance and recording experience, master class teaching experience.
